CNO Software Developer - TS/SCI Full Scope Poly

Piper Companies is looking for a CNO Software Developer - TS/SCI Full Scope Poly to join a leader in specialty wireless and cyber technologies, located in Cary, NC to design and develop advanced software and hardware capabilities supporting critical national security missions.

Responsibilities for the CNO Software Developer - TS/SCI Full Scope Poly:

• Develop innovative software and hardware‑integrated CNO capabilities used in defense, intelligence, and law enforcement environments.
• Lead end‑to‑end development including design, documentation, testing, and debugging across a variety of systems.
• Apply deep knowledge of system internals, networking, and security concepts to solve complex technical challenges.
• Collaborate with internal teams and government customers to communicate progress and ensure engineering standards are met.

Qualifications for the CNO Software Developer - TS/SCI Full Scope Poly:

• 8+ years of experience as a software engineer working with Python, C/C++, and low‑level systems (or 10+ years without a degree).
• Must be eligible to work in the United States and maintain an Active TS/SCI clearance with Full‑Scope Polygraph.
• Strong background in networking (TCP/IP, sockets), system internals, and CNO capability development.
• Proven experience with troubleshooting, debugging, and developing mission‑critical software.
• Experience collaborating within technical teams and delivering customer‑facing updates.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience).

Compensation/Benefits for the CNO Software Developer - TS/SCI Full Scope Poly:

• Salary Range: $130,000 - $170,000 depending on experience
• Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave (as required by law), and Holidays.
