Interface Support Analyst

Piper Companies is seeking an Interface Support Analyst to join a healthcare technology organization supporting Health Information Exchange (HIE) partners across multiple states. This fully remote position provides first-level support for clinical data interfaces, ensuring reliable and accurate data exchange that supports patient care and public health initiatives.

Responsibilities for the Interface Support Analyst:

• Monitor and maintain production data feeds and interface systems to ensure operational stability

• Serve as first-level support for interface-related inquiries, troubleshooting issues and coordinating resolutions

• Manage data feed alerts and communicate status updates and ETAs to internal teams, vendors, and customers

• Document issues requiring code or configuration changes and assist with resolution tracking

• Contribute to process improvements, automation efforts, and technical documentation

• Assist QA teams with interface testing and validation of downstream data quality

Qualifications for the Interface Support Analyst:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

• 1–3 years of experience in healthcare IT or healthcare data integrations

• Strong knowledge of healthcare data standards including HL7 V2 messages, CCDA, FHIR, and IHE ITI transactions.

• Experience or familiarity with HL7 interfaces, FHIR resources, Mirth Connect, XML, and JavaScript

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills

• Understanding of network connectivity and security concepts (VPNs, certificates, whitelisting) preferred

Compensation for the Interface Support Analyst:

• Salary Range: 30-40/hr

• Employment Type: Contract to hire/ Fully remote position
