AI Automation Engineer

Piper Companies is seeking an AI Automation Specialist to support a leader in the life sciences industry for a remote 12-month contract role based out of EST. The AI Automation Specialist will contribute to digital transformation efforts across enterprise and site-level teams, focusing on automation engineering, AI-driven workflows, and data-centric solutions.

Responsibilities of the AI Automation Specialist include:

· Develop automated processes using RPA platforms integrated with Python and Microsoft-based tools.

· Build AI-enabled workflows leveraging LangChain, LLM orchestration methods, and document processing pipelines.

· Create and maintain data and analytics structures within the Microsoft Fabric environment.

· Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to align automation, analytics, and AI initiatives with organizational digital objectives.

· Deliver architectural guidance, documentation, and best practices supporting automation and AI technologies.

Qualifications for the AI Automation Specialist include:

· 3–5 years of experience in AI-supported automation or intelligent workflow development.

· Hands-on background with enterprise RPA tools and automation scripting.

· Proficient in Python for automation, data manipulation, and AI integration.

· Experience with LangChain or comparable LLM orchestration frameworks.

· Familiarity with Dataiku and Microsoft Fabric for developing and operationalizing data solutions.

Compensation for the AI Automation Specialist:

Salary Range: $190,000-$225,000/year (USD)
