Senior Backend Developer

Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to support backend service development for a leading organization in the technology sector. The Senior Backend Developer role is ideal for an experienced engineer with strong expertise in Node.js, Python, and AWS within modern cloud-native environments.

Responsibilities of the Senior Backend Developer:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain backend services using Node.js and Python

• Design and implement scalable APIs, microservices, and data processing workflows

• Build and optimize cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services

Qualifications of the Senior Backend Developer:

• 5+ years of backend development experience using Node.js and Python

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS (Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, DynamoDB, etc.)

• Familiarity with microservice architecture and event-driven systems

• Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud automation tooling

Compensation for the Senior Backend Developer includes:

• Salary range: $115,000 – $130,000 depending on experience
