Commercial Case Manager

Piper Companies is hiring a Commercial Case Manager to support care coordination initiatives for a well‑established health insurance organization. This remote position is an excellent fit for an experienced RN with strong telephonic case management capabilities and a broad clinical background.

Responsibilities of the Commercial Case Manager:

• Deliver telephonic case management services to members with diverse clinical needs
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans
• Partner with internal clinical staff and external healthcare providers to promote optimal health outcomes
• Recognize barriers to care and initiate appropriate interventions
• Ensure documentation is accurate, timely, and compliant with organizational and regulatory requirements
• Apply sound clinical judgment and evidence‑based practices when making care decisions

Qualifications of the Commercial Case Manager:

• Active RN license (NC or compact multi‑state), maintained in good standing
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical and/or case management experience
• Previous telephonic case management experience is mandatory
• Background managing a variety of case types across multiple clinical specialties
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and care coordination abilities
• Knowledge of health insurance operations is a plus

Compensation of the Commercial Case Manager:

• Salary range: $60,000 – $75,000
• Full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off
