Piper Companies is currently recruiting a Manager of Bioanalytical Services for a permanent opportunity supporting a leading contract research organization in Whitesboro, NY. The Manager of Bioanalytical Services will oversee daily laboratory operations, lead teams conducting ADA and PK assay activities, and ensure the delivery of high‑quality analytical data in support of clinical development programs.
Key Responsibilities of the Manager of Bioanalytical Services:
- Direct day‑to‑day bioanalytical laboratory operations to ensure accurate and timely processing of clinical samples.
- Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and scientific staff to promote strong performance and operational excellence.
- Oversee method development, optimization, and validation activities in compliance with GLP and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with internal project teams to align analytical approaches with program timelines and scientific objectives.
- Promote compliance, quality systems, and continuous improvement across ADA‑focused workflows.
Required Qualifications of the Manager of Bioanalytical Services:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biochemistry, Pharmacology, or a related scientific discipline.
- Proven experience in bioanalytical laboratory operations or leadership roles with strong GLP knowledge.
- Demonstrated success managing teams and complex laboratory processes in regulated environments.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills, including experience with investigations and deviations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross‑functional scientific teams.
Compensation & Benefits of the Manager of Bioanalytical Services:
- Salary Range: $100,000–$130,000 annually
- Benefits Package: Medical, Dental, Vision, sick leave where required by law, and 401(k)
