Piper Companies is seeking an Operations Associate to support a growing organization within the financial services and insurance sector for a permanent onsite role based in Durham, NC. The Operations Associate will assist with day‑to‑day client interactions, administrative support, and process coordination to ensure a smooth operational workflow for a rapidly expanding team.
Responsibilities of the Operations Associate include:
· Handle incoming client calls and deliver high‑quality customer support across various operational needs.
· Maintain accurate records and perform detailed data entry to ensure internal systems remain up to date.
· Collaborate with team members to resolve customer inquiries and escalate more complex issues as needed.
· Participate in internal process updates and contribute to improving service efficiency.
· Support cross‑functional administrative duties to keep daily operations running smoothly.
Qualifications for the Operations Associate include:
· Bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of professional experience (customer-facing experience acceptable).
· Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer‑service mindset.
· High attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes accurately.
· Comfortable completing a customer service simulation as part of the initial interview stage.
· Ability to work a 9AM–6PM schedule and handle frequent phone‑based interaction.
Compensation for the Operations Associate:
· Salary Range: $40,000–$47,000/year (USD)
· Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, sick leave if required by law, and 401K
