Senior Network Engineer

Piper Companies is hiring a Senior Network Engineer for a 6‑month engagement supporting one of the world’s leading technology innovators. This organization is recognized globally for delivering advanced networking, security, collaboration, and cloud‑driven solutions that power and automate modern digital infrastructures.

This position is fully onsite in Newtown, PA, requiring daily presence at the customer location. The role involves providing hands‑on engineering expertise and technical leadership across complex enterprise network environments. The hourly rate for this position is $70–$74/hr.

Key Responsibilities for the Senior Network Engineer:

• Lead the design, deployment, and optimization of enterprise‑grade network solutions
• Develop and validate network architectures with an emphasis on reliability, security, and high performance
• Partner with cross-functional engineering teams and customer stakeholders to define requirements and delivery outcomes
• Diagnose and resolve advanced network issues across multi‑vendor platforms
• Promote engineering best practices and ensure alignment with security and operational standards
• Create and maintain thorough documentation for network designs, configurations, and operational processes
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to supporting engineering personnel

Requirements for the Senior Network Engineer

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of hands-on enterprise network engineering experience
• Strong technical proficiency in routing, switching, and firewall technologies
• Experience with major networking platforms (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, etc.)
• Ability to work onsite daily in Newtown, PA
• Demonstrated success leading technical delivery within complex or customer-facing environments

Compensation & Benefits for the Senior Network Engineer

• Hourly rate: $70–$74/hr
