Therapeutic Strategy Lead

Piper Companies is seeking a Therapeutic Strategy Lead to support a global organization within the clinical research industry for a permanent remote position. The Therapeutic Strategy Lead will serve as a senior scientific authority, shaping program strategy and guiding cross‑functional teams to secure and execute large, complex clinical studies.

Responsibilities of the Therapeutic Strategy Lead include:

· Deliver high-level therapeutic and scientific insight to guide clinical program concepts, study feasibility, and protocol direction.

· Lead scientific strategy during proposal development, client discussions, and bid defenses, offering data‑driven recommendations for study design.

· Build strong relationships with neurologists, investigators, and site leaders to advance trial readiness, especially across neurodegenerative and CNS indications.

· Translate evolving therapeutic science into operational plans, including budget input, enrollment forecasting, and global execution considerations.

· Provide strategic guidance on regulatory expectations, endpoint frameworks, and safety approaches across assigned therapeutic areas.

Qualifications for the Therapeutic Strategy Lead include:

· Advanced scientific or clinical degree (MD, PhD, PharmD or related); clinical or academic exposure to CNS, neurodegenerative, oncology, or autoimmune science strongly preferred.

· Significant experience supporting or leading clinical development strategy within a pharmaceutical, academic, or CRO environment.

· Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with KOLs, principal investigators, and specialized clinical sites.

· Proven success supporting proposal efforts and navigating scientific, operational, and commercial tradeoffs.

· Strong communication, cross‑functional leadership, and analytical capabilities with the ability to synthesize complex therapeutic landscapes.

Compensation for the Therapeutic Strategy Lead:

Salary Range: $350,000-$400,000/year (USD)
