Overview

Piper Companies is seeking a Scientist to join a Bio / Engineering Production team in Medford, MA.

This is a full-time, onsite, 6-month contract role with potential for conversion. The ideal candidate will have a strong biology background with hands-on experience in iPSC stem cell culture, differentiation, and QC within a pharmaceutical or biotech environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Full-time onsite schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Lead and support iPSC production and related lab activities

• Perform hands-on stem cell culture and differentiation

• Execute QC-related tasks in accordance with SOPs

• Maintain accurate lab documentation and records

• Support Bio/Engineering Production workflows

• Follow all safety, GMP, and GLP standards

Required Qualifications

• Biology degree strongly preferred

• Proven hands-on experience with:

• iPSC cell culture

• Stem cell differentiation

• Quality Control (QC) processes

• Pharma or biotech industry experience preferred

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Recent PhD with strong post-doctoral experience in:

• iPSC culturing

• Stem cell differentiation

• QC-focused lab work

-Up to $55/hr

OR

• Master’s degree with several years of hands-on industry experience in:

• iPSC cell culture

• QC environments

• Pharmaceutical or biotech production

-$40hr-50/hr
