Piper Companies is seeking a CNC Machinist to join a leading manufacturing organization located in Pleasanton, CA. This is a fully onsite, hands‑on machining and programming role responsible for independently running CNC jobs from start to finish.
Responsibilities of the CNC Machinist include:
- Program, set up, and operate CNC machines.
- Create/optimize programs using Surfcam or similar CAM tools.
- Interpret drawings and GD&T.
- Select tooling/fixtures and perform full setups and inspections.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and improve processes.
- Use precision measurement tools and maintain documentation.
- Operate manual machines as needed.
Qualifications for the CNC Machinist include:
- Expert CNC programming experience (Surfcam or similar).
- Strong machining and setup experience.
- Solid knowledge of GD&T and precision measurement.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize machining processes.
- Must work onsite 5 days a week in Pleasanton, CA
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
Compensation for the CNC Machinist include:
- $35/hr - $55/hr depending on experience
