Python Developer

Piper Companies is seeking a Python Developer to join an enterprise technology team supporting forecasting, infrastructure planning, and data driven capacity modeling. This position is fully remote. This is a 6 month contract with the possibility to convert into full time

This role will focus on Python and SQL development, building dashboards, and working on data driven forecasting initiatives. Candidates should have experience with infrastructure heavy environments and visibility tooling.

Responsibilities

• Develop Python and SQL based tools to support capacity forecasting and hardware lifecycle planning
• Build and maintain dashboards using Kibana for visibility, analysis, and operational reporting
• Support SQL driven projections and data modeling initiatives
• Contribute to forecasting efforts across infrastructure and hardware planning
• Collaborate with data engineering and development teams to deliver scalable solutions

Qualifications

• 4 or more years of experience in Python development
• Strong SQL skills in data modeling, analysis, and projections
• Experience building dashboards in Kibana
• Background in capacity forecasting or infrastructure focused environments
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
