Overview

Zachary Piper is seeking a Systems Administrator III responsible for administering and supporting enterprise infrastructure technologies. This role requires broad technical knowledge and subject matter expertise in at least two of the listed technology domains.




Core Technical Areas

Candidates should demonstrate strong knowledge in several of the following:

  • Server and storage hardware (Cisco UCSX, NetApp, Pure Storage, NAS, SAN)
  • Microsoft Windows Server platforms and services (DNS, DHCP, Route53, certificate management)
  • System management tools (Microsoft Systems Center, SolarWinds, MECM, Azure Arc)
  • Virtualization and cloud platforms (VMware, Nutanix, Azure Local, Azure, Entra, M365)
  • Identity and Access Management (Active Directory, HAB Groups, Okta, SSO/AD FS, Entra ID, Centrify/Delinea)
  • Enterprise backup and disaster recovery (Rubrik, Zerto)
  • Messaging platforms (Hybrid Exchange, Exchange Online, Teams, eDiscovery, Cisco ESA)
  • System security (DLP, vulnerability assessment/remediation)
  • Web server platforms (IIS, SharePoint, F5 Load Balancers)
  • PowerShell and scripting languages
  • Microsoft Server 2019, 2022, 2025
  • ServiceNow (Change, Incident, Problem Management)
  • Domain Controller and FSMO role management



Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a principal administrator for assigned enterprise technologies.
  • Follow established ITSM processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Mentor junior team members on technical procedures and ITSM practices.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and best‑practice documentation.
  • Create operational documentation and knowledge base articles.
  • Collaborate with engineering and other IT teams on projects and technical requirements.
  • Monitor, investigate, and resolve system, application, and security events.
  • Perform routine health checks and maintenance on critical infrastructure.
  • Provide after-hours support for maintenance and incident resolution.
  • Establish annual goals and professional development plans.
  • Utilize automation tools (PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, Azure Automation, Scorch).
  • Develop PowerShell scripts to automate tasks, gather data, and generate reports.
  • Perform additional related duties as required.



Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or related field preferred.
  • 8–10 years of relevant IT experience.
  • Hands‑on experience with multiple technologies listed above.
  • Strong commitment to continuous improvement and skills development.
  • Effective time management and task follow‑through.
  • Ability to create clear documentation and escalate issues when appropriate.
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to build collaborative relationships.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • High attention to detail and methodical work habits.
  • Ability to take ownership of issues through resolution.
  • English proficiency required.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.

Compensation

  • Benefits: PTO, Paid Holidays, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Sick Leave (as required by law)
  • Salary: $100,000 - $120,000
