CNC Machinist

Piper Companies is seeking a CNC Machinist to join a leading manufacturing organization located in Pleasanton, CA. This is a fully onsite, hands‑on machining and programming role responsible for independently running CNC jobs from start to finish. 

Responsibilities of the CNC Machinist include:

• Program, set up, and operate CNC machines.
• Create/optimize programs using Surfcam or similar CAM tools.
• Interpret drawings and GD&T.
• Select tooling/fixtures and perform full setups and inspections.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and improve processes.
• Use precision measurement tools and maintain documentation.
• Operate manual machines as needed.

Qualifications for the CNC Machinist include:

• Expert CNC programming experience (Surfcam or similar).
• Strong machining and setup experience.
• Solid knowledge of GD&T and precision measurement.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize machining processes.
• Must work onsite 5 days a week in Pleasanton, CA
• Must be eligible to work in the United States

Compensation for the CNC Machinist include:

• $55/hr - $63/hr depending on experience
