Piper Companies is seeking a QA Automation Engineer leveraging AI to support a cloud‑focused engineering organization. This role centers on building AI‑enhanced automation frameworks, writing Java‑based automated tests, and ensuring end‑to‑end quality across internal and external platforms. The engineer will work across Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Google Cloud environments. The candidate will sit hybrid in Raleigh, NC.
Responsibilities for the QA Automation Engineer:
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks in Java, incorporating AI/ML capabilities to improve test efficiency and coverage.
- Execute end‑to‑end, API, and regression automation across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud platforms.
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams and external partners to identify defects, validate fixes, and improve overall quality.
- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and enhance test reliability using AI‑driven insights.
Qualifications for the QA Automation Engineer:
- 3–5 years of experience in QA automation with strong proficiency in Java.
- Hands‑on experience with AI/ML tools or techniques within automation or quality engineering workflows.
- Experience testing cloud‑native applications across Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Strong understanding of end‑to‑end testing, API automation, and CI/CD environments.
