RWE Senior Expert

Piper Companies is seeking an RWE Senior Expert to partner with a global organization within the pharmaceutical and healthcare research sector for a remote contract opportunity based out of EST. The RWE Senior Expert will play a key role in shaping real‑world evidence strategies for specialized patient groups and will collaborate closely with international teams to guide evidence development initiatives.

Responsibilities of the RWE Senior Expert include:

· Develop strategic RWE approaches for priority therapeutic areas, with a focus on elderly or complex patient segments.

· Oversee the design and execution of RWE projects, including study concepts, protocol direction, and analytics alignment.

· Serve as a subject‑matter resource for internal and external teams, ensuring coordination across cross‑functional evidence groups.

· Provide scientific and methodological leadership to project teams, clarifying expectations and troubleshooting study challenges.

· Communicate insights and recommendations derived from study outputs to support organizational decision‑making.

Qualifications for the RWE Senior Expert include:

· At least 5 years of experience supporting or leading RWE studies in pharma, CRO, academic, or consulting settings.

· Master’s degree in epidemiology or a related quantitative field (advanced degree preferred).

· Proven ability to operate independently while managing multiple evidence‑generation activities.

· Experience collaborating with global stakeholders and familiarity with project management within a CRO or pharma environment.

· Ability to work East Coast US hours to ensure alignment with a Central European‑based team.

Compensation for the RWE Senior Expert:

Salary Range: $155,000-$170,000/year (USD)

Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, sick leave if required by law, and 401K
