Clinical Development Physician

Piper Companies is seeking a Clinical Development Physician to support a leading organization in the life sciences sector for a 12‑month remote contract based out of EST. The Clinical Development Physician will provide medical expertise across ongoing programs while full‑time internal staff are reassigned to a long‑term strategic initiative.

Responsibilities of the Clinical Development Physician include:

· Provide clinical oversight and medical input across assigned development activities.

· Review and interpret clinical data, ensuring scientific accuracy and alignment with program goals.

· Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support study execution within regulated environments.

· Participate in protocol review, safety assessments, and medically‑focused decision‑making.

· Offer medical guidance wherever gaps arise due to resource reallocation within the organization.

Qualifications for the Clinical Development Physician include:

· Licensed physician with experience in clinical development.

· Background in Internal Medicine, Neurology, Immunology, or Dermatology; neuro or immunology experience preferred.

· Ability to operate effectively in regulated clinical research settings.

· Board certification not required.

· Must be able to work remotely on an East Coast schedule.

Compensation for the Clinical Development Physician:

Salary Range: $325,000-$360,000/year (USD)
