Technical Implementation Manager

Piper Companies is seeking a Technical Implementation Manager to support a leading organization within the technology and analytics industry for a hybrid contract-to-hire opportunity based in Cary, NC. The Technical Implementation Manager will guide and execute an enterprise-wide rollout of monitoring and observability tools, with a primary focus on deploying DataDog across diverse teams and environments.

Responsibilities of the Technical Implementation Manager include:

· Lead and coordinate an end‑to‑end implementation of DataDog across multiple business units.

· Collaborate with engineering groups to integrate monitoring practices into existing services and applications.

· Oversee configuration, testing, and optimization of observability components to support organizational objectives.

· Provide technical guidance on best practices related to system performance, monitoring patterns, and operational insights.

· Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure monitoring tools align with evolving application and infrastructure needs.

Qualifications for the Technical Implementation Manager include:

· Prior experience supporting technology initiatives in a 6–9 month contract environment.

· Strong proficiency with Node.js, including React on the frontend and JavaScript/Express on the backend.

· Hands‑on experience working with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.

· Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.

· Solid working knowledge of AWS services including EKS clusters, Aurora, and load balancing technologies.

Compensation for the Technical Implementation Manager:

Salary Range: $138,000-$148,000/year (USD)
