Piper Companies is hiring an Account Executive – Neuromuscular to support a leading organization in the rare‑disease pharmaceutical space. This remote role will focus on strategic field engagement across the Ann Arbor, Michigan region for a permanent position. The Account Executive will play a key role in expanding awareness of neuromuscular conditions, strengthening relationships with care teams, and encouraging adoption of innovative treatment options that positively impact patients living with rare disorders.
Responsibilities of the Account Executive - Neuromuscular include:
- Create and implement a comprehensive territory approach aimed at exceeding business objectives while upholding strong compliance and ethical standards.
- Establish and grow partnerships with neurologists, allied health professionals, and specialized care centers to broaden disease education and clinical understanding.
- Serve as a resource to practices by explaining reimbursement processes, delivery channels, coverage pathways, and access considerations.
- Collaborate closely with internal field partners to exchange insights, identify emerging opportunities, and coordinate solutions that enhance the patient experience.
- Work alongside advocacy groups and community organizations to support educational efforts, outreach programs, and care‑navigation initiatives for rare neuromuscular populations.
Qualifications for the Account Executive - Neuromuscular include:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- At least 8 years of experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare field sales, with a strong background in specialty therapeutics.
- Deep familiarity with Buy‑and‑Bill models, specialty pharmacy systems, and HUB‑driven patient support services.
- Proven record of strong sales performance and involvement in successful product launches.
- Solid understanding of neurology‑related therapeutic categories, rare‑disease dynamics, and modern digital/multichannel engagement methods.
Compensation for the Account Executive - Neuromuscular:
Salary: $140,000-$170,000/year (USD)
Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, sick leave if required by law, and 401K
