Piper Companies is seeking a Medical Director, Neurology to provide clinical leadership and medical oversight within the life sciences industry. The Medical Director, Neurology role is ideal for a board‑certified neurologist with experience supporting clinical trials and serving as a scientific partner across cross‑functional teams. The Medical Director, Neurology is a 12 month contract opportunity and requires you to live in Eastern Standard Time states.
Responsibilities of the Medical Director, Neurology:
- Provide medical oversight and clinical expertise for neurology trials across Phases I–IV.
- Serve as the medical expert for neurology indications and study protocols.
- Review and contribute to protocols, Investigator’s Brochures, informed consent forms, and study reports.
- Interpret clinical data and support safety reviews, data review meetings, and sponsor interactions.
- Partner with clients in sponsor meetings, scientific discussions, and decision‑making.
- Provide medical input on feasibility, site selection, and investigator engagement.
- Support regulatory inspections, client audits, and sponsor deliverables.
Requirements of the Medical Director, Neurology:
- 1–2 years of clinical research experience within a CRO, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology environment, or experience serving as a Principal Investigator.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD).
- Board Certification in Neurology (required).
- Eligible for or currently holding an active medical license.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret clinical data and contribute to scientific and operational decision‑making.
Compensation for the Medical Director, Neurology:
- $130.00-$170.00/ hour
- Full Comprehensive Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental, PTO, Paid Holiday and Sick Leave if Required by Law.
