Senior Manufacturing IT Architect

Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Manufacturing IT Architect to provide technical leadership across complex, integrated operational technology environments within the industrial sector. The Senior Manufacturing IT Architect role is ideal for an experienced professional with deep expertise in manufacturing systems, automation technologies, and enterprise‑level solution design.

Responsibilities of the Senior Manufacturing IT Architect:

• Lead solution design, governance, and service delivery initiatives across manufacturing and industrial IT environments.

• Oversee the architecture and support of integrated OT/IT systems including SCADA, PLCs, MES, and enterprise applications.

• Provide hands‑on technical leadership in SCADA/PLC integrations, SQL Server environments, Windows Server administration, and both legacy and modern application stacks.

• Partner with manufacturing, engineering, and IT stakeholders to define system roadmaps, modernization strategies, and long‑term architectural standards.

• Ensure reliability, scalability, and compliance across mission‑critical production systems.

• Contribute to the evolution of MES/MOM, SAP PP/PM, warehouse execution, automation platforms, and related ecosystem integrations.

Qualifications of the Senior Manufacturing IT Architect:

• 10+ years of IT experience with strong exposure to manufacturing, industrial automation, or OT systems.

• Proven leadership experience in solution design, governance frameworks, and service delivery for highly integrated environments.

• Hands‑on expertise with SCADA/PLC integrations, SQL Server, Windows Server, and a mix of legacy and modern application architectures.

• Experience with SAP PP/PM, MES/MOM platforms, warehouse execution systems, or industrial automation technologies preferred.

• Strong communication, cross‑functional collaboration, and stakeholder management capabilities.

Compensation for the Senior Manufacturing IT Architect includes:

• Salary range: $110,000 - $160,000
