Technical Implementation Manager

Piper Companies is seeking a Technical Implementation Manager to support a leading organization in the enterprise technology solutions industry. The Technical Implementation Manager role is ideal for an experienced professional with strong implementation expertise, particularly in monitoring/observability platforms, and the ability to drive cross‑functional deployment initiatives.

Responsibilities of the Technical Implementation Manager:

• Lead the enterprise‑wide implementation of Datadog across the organization.

• Develop implementation strategies, deployment plans, and integration approaches for monitoring and observability solutions.

• Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to ensure proper instrumentation and adoption.

• Oversee timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication related to platform rollout and enablement.

• Provide guidance on best practices for monitoring, alerting, dashboarding, and observability design.

• Support change management, documentation, and standards creation for monitoring and observability processes.

• Operate as the primary liaison between internal technical teams and vendor resources throughout the implementation.

Qualifications of the Technical Implementation Manager:

• 7+ years of IT or technical project/implementation management experience.

• Hands‑on experience implementing enterprise technologies—ideally monitoring or observability platforms such as Datadog, New Relic, Splunk, or Dynatrace.

• Strong understanding of systems, infrastructure, cloud, and/or application monitoring methodologies.

• Proven ability to drive cross‑functional implementations and manage technical integrations.

• Excellent communication skills and comfort operating with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.—no visa sponsorship offered.

Compensation for the Technical Implementation Manager includes:

• Salary range:$100,000 - $145,000

• Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO

• 6‑month contract‑to‑hire opportunity

• Onsite position located in Cary, NC
