Piper Companies is seeking a Technical Program Manager in Charlotte North Carolina. to join an enterprise technology organization supporting large scale infrastructure, cloud, and platform initiatives. The Technical Program Manager will oversee cross functional delivery efforts that support application teams, engineering groups, and enterprise level programs. The Techincal Program Manager role is required to be onsite 5 days a week in Charlotte North Carolina. Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Responsibilities for the Technical Program Manager:
- Lead end to end delivery of infrastructure and platform projects including migrations, remediation efforts, environment readiness, and enterprise scale technology upgrades
- Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations while coordinating across engineering, architecture, operations, and security teams
- Support data center migrations, cloud adoption efforts, server and middleware migrations, and remediation of not permitted technologies
- Manage cross team dependencies and ensure alignment with enterprise standards, resiliency expectations, and regulatory requirements
- Facilitate project meetings, maintain documentation, and oversee cutover plans, risk mitigation, and issue resolution
- Assist with portfolio planning, demand intake, and capacity management across concurrent workstreams
Requirements for the Technical Program Manager:
- 6+ years of technical project or program management experience within large enterprise environments
- Background delivering infrastructure or platform projects such as data center migrations, cloud migrations, technology remediation, or enterprise hardware and software deployments
- Strong understanding of infrastructure components, cloud platforms, networking fundamentals, and platform modernization efforts
- Familiarity with regulated environments and adherence to internal controls and audit requirements
- Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow, or related enterprise PMO systems
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
Compensation for the Technical Program Manager:
- Salary range: $140,000-165,000, depending on experience
- Full benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k, and PTO, sick leave as required by law
