Laboratory Technician

Piper Companies is currently looking for a Laboratory Technician in the Baltimore, MD area to work a fully onsite role. The Laboratory Technician will join a biotechnology organization focused on the research and development of innovative therapies within the life sciences and healthcare sector.

Responsibilities for the Laboratory Technician:

• Perform laboratory support activities related to sample handling, testing, and biological process maintenance.
• Execute experimental and analytical procedures while ensuring adherence to quality and compliance requirements.
• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and operational systems as needed.
• Manage laboratory inventory, supplies, and resource coordination to support ongoing operations.

Prepare and maintain documentation, reports, and records while supporting

Qualifications for the Laboratory Technician:

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in a related field required
• 0-2+ years of related experience depending on education level
• Awareness of GMP and SOP
• Familiarity with ELISA-based testing and associated analytical principles
• Industry internship or laboratory experience within biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or life sciences organizations is highly desirable

Compensation for the Laboratory Technician:

• Hourly Rate: $18-20/hr based on professional and educational experience
