Piper Companies is seeking a Program Scheduler to support a major long‑term capital expansion project within the biopharmaceutical manufacturing industry for a 3-year onsite contract based out of Clayton, NC. The Program Scheduler will play a key role in coordinating schedules across multiple workstreams for a large‑scale brownfield initiative involving shutdowns, production‑active environments, and complex tie‑ins.
Responsibilities of the Program Scheduler include:
· Lead integration of schedules across engineering, procurement, construction, and startup teams
· Maintain a unified program schedule and ensure project managers understand true critical path drivers
· Identify schedule risks early and communicate impacts clearly to leadership and stakeholders
· Track planning maturity, challenge assumptions, and ensure alignment across execution phases
· Support shutdown and tie‑in planning to ensure work fits within strict downtime windows
Qualifications for the Program Scheduler include:
· Experience supporting large capital projects, including at least one project valued at $500M+
· Background working in regulated industries (pharma, biotech, oil & gas, or similar)
· Strong understanding of construction execution plus startup/commissioning and qualification activities
· Prior experience with brownfield expansions involving multiple shutdowns and active operations
· Ability to engage directors/managers, present schedule risks, and drive cross‑disciplinary coordination
Compensation for the Program Scheduler:
Salary Range: $185,000-$205,000/year (USD)
Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, sick leave if required by law, and 401K
