Test Engineer

Piper Companies is seeking a Test Engineer to support a leading organization in the technology industry. The Test Engineer will be responsible for building detailed test plans from clearly defined product outcomes and translating those outcomes into structured, testable artifacts.

Responsibilities of the Test Engineer:

• Create comprehensive test plans based on well‑defined product outcomes provided by the client

• Translate outcome workflows (e.g., Alert → Case → Automatic Enrichment) into actionable test cases

• Identify required artifacts, test data, and validation points for each scenario

• Execute manual and automated test cycles to ensure product reliability and quality

• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to refine requirements and improve test coverage

• Document defects, regression findings, and overall test results

Qualifications of the Test Engineer:

• 3–5+ years of experience developing test plans and test cases

• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, scenario modeling, and artifact definition

• Experience working closely with engineering teams to interpret product outcomes and system behaviors

• Ability to design tests for workflows involving alerts, case creation, enrichments, or similar processes

• Familiarity with automation tools or scripting languages a plus

Compensation for the Test Engineer includes:

• Salary range: $115,000 – $130,000 depending on experience
