Sr. Platform Security Engineer

Piper Companies is seeking a Sr. Platform Security Engineer for a world-leading technology organization. The Sr. Platform Security Engineer role is REMOTE working EST hours. The Sr. Platform Security Engineer will be responsible for building and implementing security solutions with a strong focus on automation using Python, Terraform, and Ansible. An ideal candidate for the Sr. Platform Security Engineer role is an experienced professional with strong expertise in platform security and automation.

Responsibilities of the Sr. Platform Security Engineer:

• Develop and implement security solutions to protect platform infrastructure.
• Automate security processes and workflows using Python, Terraform, and Ansible.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into the platform.
• Create and maintain documentation for security configurations and procedures.

Qualifications of the Sr. Platform Security Engineer:

• 5+ years of experience in platform security engineering.
• Strong proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages, particularly Python, Terraform, and Ansible.
• Experience with security monitoring and incident response.
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Compensation for the Sr. Platform Security Engineer includes:

• Salary range: $130,000 - $175,000 depending on experience
• Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, Sick Leave as required by law
