Program Scheduler

Piper Companies is seeking a Program Scheduler to support a multi‑year, large‑scale brownfield expansion project within the life sciences industry. This role will focus on integrating schedules across engineering, procurement, construction, and startup/commissioning while ensuring full visibility into the program’s true critical path. This role will be on-site in Clayton with flexibility to work from home one day a week occasionally.

Responsibilities of the Program Scheduler:

• Integrate engineering, procurement, construction, and startup/commissioning schedules into a cohesive master program schedule.

• Consolidate and align individual PM schedules, ensuring clear visibility into critical path drivers.

• Support brownfield expansion efforts while production stays active and shutdowns occur.

• Validate schedule logic with engineering teams, general contractors, and startup/commissioning groups.

• Identify key program constraints and develop mitigation recommendations.

• Prepare schedule reports, forecasts, and lookaheads for leadership review.

• Support planning for a six‑month full‑facility downtime at project conclusion.

Qualifications of the Program Scheduler:

• 7+ years of scheduling experience supporting large capital projects.

• Strong background in brownfield/greenfield/CAPEX environments with active production, shutdown planning, and tie‑ins.

• Experience working across construction trades (GCs, electrical, plumbing, mechanical) and startup/commissioning phases.

• Successful contribution to at least one capital project valued at $500M or more.

• Deep expertise in developing integrated schedules, identifying critical path, and coordinating across disciplines.

• Proficiency with Primavera P6 or similar scheduling tools.

Compensation for the Program Scheduler includes:

• Compensation: $160,000-$185,000

• Opportunity to support a 3‑year project expected to run through late 2028 / early 2029
