Senior Developer – Data Warehousing & Infrastructure

Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Developer – Data Warehousing & Infrastructure to support a company focused on modernizing enterprise data platforms within a technology‑driven environment. This position is hybrid in Fort Washington, PA. The Senior Developer – Data Warehousing & Infrastructure will lead the design, optimization, and governance of large‑scale data warehousing systems and cloud infrastructure. This role empowers the organization to advance its analytics capabilities and accelerate data‑driven innovation.

Responsibilities for the Senior Developer – Data Warehousing & Infrastructure include:

• Designing and implementing large‑scale enterprise data warehouses and supporting infrastructure
• Building and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines across diverse data sources
• Improving performance and reliability of cloud and on‑prem data platforms
• Mentoring associate and mid‑level engineers and supporting cross‑functional teams
• Ensuring governance, security compliance, and participation in Azure cloud migration projects

Required Qualifications for the Senior Developer – Data Warehousing & Infrastructure include:

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or infrastructure
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure (compute, storage, Azure AD, resource management)
• Advanced SQL skills, database optimization, ETL/ELT development, and cloud‑native data platform expertise
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, Finance, Information Systems, or related field

Compensation for the Senior Developer – Data Warehousing & Infrastructure includes:

Salary Range: $120,000-$130,000 depending on experience
