Calibration Technician

Piper Companies is seeking a Calibration Technician to support manufacturing and utility systems within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. The Calibration Technician role is ideal for an experienced metrology professional with strong cGMP experience supporting complex facility and utility equipment. The Calibration Technician role requires you to be on site 5 days per week in Ridgefield, NJ.

Responsibilities of the Calibration Technician:

• Perform calibrations on manufacturing, utility, Building Automation, and Rockwell PLC systems
• Troubleshoot and repair utility systems including WFI, RODI, clean steam, HVAC, autoclaves, and production equipment
• Support facility start-up, commissioning, and initial calibration activities as needed
• Complete accurate cGMP documentation in compliance with GDP and EAM procedures
• Respond to emergency and high-priority work requests and participate in on-call rotation
• Ensure all work complies with site HSE policies and safe work practices

Requirements of the Calibration Technician:

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s Degree preferred
• 5+ years of calibration experience in a cGMP biotech or pharmaceutical environment
• Strong knowledge of utility systems, HVAC, and manufacturing equipment
• Ability to read P&IDs, loop diagrams, and control schematics
• Proficiency with MS Office, BMS, DCS, and computerized calibration systems
• Recognized expertise in metrology and calibration practices

Compensation for the Calibration Technician:

• $62,000 - $82,000
