Program Scheduler

Piper Companies is seeking a Program Scheduler to support large‑scale brownfield expansion projects within the life sciences industry. The Program Scheduler will focus on integrating schedules across engineering, procurement, construction, and startup/commissioning while ensuring clear visibility into the program’s critical path.

Responsibilities of the Program Scheduler:

• Integrate engineering, procurement, construction, and startup schedules into a unified master program schedule.

• Consolidate individual PM schedules and maintain clear visibility into critical path activities.

• Support brownfield expansion work, including coordinating shutdowns while production remains active.

• Validate schedule logic with engineering teams, GCs, and startup/commissioning groups.

• Prepare schedule reports and forecasts for leadership review.

Qualifications of the Program Scheduler:

• 7+ years of scheduling experience in large capital project environments.

• Experience supporting brownfield expansions with active production and shutdown constraints.

• Exposure to construction disciplines (GCs, electrical, plumbing, mechanical) and startup/commissioning work.

• Experience on at least one project valued at $500M+.

• Proficiency with Primavera P6 or similar scheduling tools.

Compensation for the Program Scheduler includes:

• Salary range: $150,000 – $180,000 depending on experience

• Hybrid schedule based in Clayton, NC
