Piper Companies is hiring a Neuromuscular Account Executive for a global biopharmaceutical company based out of New York. The Neuromuscular Account Executive will play an large part in identifying and building out collaborative relationships with physicians and clinics, while executing sales and marketing strategies. The Neuromuscular Account Executive role requires you to live in Manhattan or Staten Island and travel up to 60% of the time.
Responsibilities of the Neuromuscular Account Executive:
- Consistently exceed territory sales goals while upholding the highest ethical standards
- Develop and execute strategic business plans informed by deep insight into local market dynamics
- Develop deep expertise in targeted disease states, including patient journeys, standards of care, and key treatment drivers
- Build expertise among physicians and care‑continuum stakeholders, while remaining aware of dynamics influencing treatment decisions
Requirements of the Neuromuscular Account Executive:
- Bachelors Degree
- 7+ years of related experience in a sales based role withing biopharmaceuticals or healthcare
- 4+ Years of experience in Rare Disease
- Verifiable history of consistent top‑tier sales performance (top 30% nationally).
- Active involvement in the execution of successful product launches.
- Ability to travel up to 60%
Experience that is a *PLUS*:
- Extensive CNS/neuroscience sales experience (including epilepsy), with knowledge of specialty pharmacy and reimbursement‑driven products across oncology and hematology.
- Experience supporting provider‑administered biologic therapies.
- Proven experience promoting REMS‑restricted products.
Compensation for the Neuromuscular Account Executive:
- $160,000 - $200,000
