Project Manager, QC Projects

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support our client's Quality Project Team in delivering critical Quality Control (QC) testing initiatives. This role will focus on managing cross-functional project plans, ensuring timely implementation of QC methods, and driving alignment across global stakeholders.

The ideal candidate brings strong project management discipline, experience in regulated environments, and the ability to manage complex timelines, resources, and risks in a highly collaborative setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring technical feasibility
• Build and manage detailed QC project plans (tasks, dependencies, resources, timelines, and critical paths) using MS Project Online
• Track project progress and ensure alignment with timeline, scope, and budget expectations
• Monitor and manage resource allocation to support successful project execution
• Create and enhance dashboards and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) to track performance and communicate status
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks; develop mitigation plans and escalate as needed
• Ensure effective change control using structured verification techniques
• Measure and report project performance using established tools and cadence
• Communicate delays, risks, and business impacts proactively to stakeholders and leadership
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation throughout the lifecycle, including final handover materials
• Build and manage stakeholder relationships, including development of a QC stakeholder map
• Collaborate closely with QC Transfer Coordinators, global method development teams, and program leadership
• Apply project management methodologies aligned with PMBOK standards and company practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (science, engineering, or business preferred)
• 5+ years of project management experience, ideally in pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated industries
• Proven experience managing cross-functional projects with complex timelines
• Strong proficiency with MS Project Online (required)
• Experience with Power BI and/or Primavera P6 is highly preferred
• Solid understanding of project management frameworks (PMBOK or equivalent)
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills

• Experience supporting Quality Control or laboratory-related projects
• Familiarity with method transfer or analytical testing environments
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proactive risk management and problem-solving mindset
• Ability to drive projects to completion under tight timelines
• Collaborative and adaptable in a fast-paced environment

Compensation:

• Pay Rate: $60-$70/hr on a W2 contract rate
• Long term consulting role
