Senior BI Developer

Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Developer (Revenue Cycle) to join a large, well-established regional healthcare system in Pennsylvania. This role supports enterprise-level reporting and analytics initiatives focused on Revenue Cycle across multiple Epic instances. The ideal candidate brings strong SQL expertise, healthcare analytics experience, and the ability to lead complex BI solutions in a highly collaborative environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the design and development of high-complexity, enterprise-level BI solutions focused on Revenue Cycle

• Serve as a Revenue Cycle analytics subject matter expert supporting enterprise reporting and data requests

• Develop and optimize advanced SQL queries using Epic Clarity data models

• Support and participate in migrations from Tableau and Qlik to Power BI, including dashboard development

• Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams to align on BI architecture and best practices

• Mentor and provide technical guidance to BI team members while reinforcing standards and governance

• Identify reporting gaps and recommend process, data quality, and governance improvements

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field

• 5+ years of experience with SQL and analytics/reporting development

• 5–7 years of healthcare analytics and reporting experience preferred

• Hands-on experience supporting Revenue Cycle reporting initiatives

• Epic Clarity experience required; Clarity Data Model Certification (Revenue Cycle preferred)

• Strong SQL querying skills; Power BI dashboarding experience preferred

• Experience migrating reports from Tableau and/or Qlik is a strong plus

COMPENSATION & TERMS:

• Salary Target: $125,000/year

• Employment Type: Direct Hire

• Onsite Requirement: Hybrid – 2 days/week onsite, Fort Washington, PA or Allentown, PA
