Sr. IT Systems Analyst

Piper Companies is seeking an IT Systems Analyst to support and enhance technology solutions across manufacturing and industrial automation environments. The IT Systems Analyst will work closely with operations, engineering, and IT stakeholders to design, build, deploy, and support systems that optimize production, ensure data reliability, and align with best‑practice service management standards.

Responsibilities of the IT Systems Analyst:

• Understand and translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions for manufacturing and supply chain operations.

• Design, configure, and support SAP ECC or S/4HANA modules, specifically Production Planning and Shop Floor Control.

• Implement and maintain integrations using SAP MII, SAP BTP, Azure, and other cloud or edge platforms.

• Support MES platforms through configuration, troubleshooting, and integration with enterprise systems.

• Develop and optimize SQL Server stored procedures, perform database administration, and conduct performance tuning.

• Build Python scripts for automation, data transformation, and integration workflows.

• Configure and troubleshoot OPC UA interfaces for equipment connectivity and industrial data exchange.

Qualifications of the IT Systems Analyst:

• Minimum 7 years of IT or systems support experience, ideally within manufacturing or supply chain environments.

• Strong hands‑on experience with SAP ECC or S/4HANA (PP, SFC).

• Experience working with SAP MII, SAP BTP, Azure, or similar cloud‑based integration platforms.

• Background supporting and configuring MES platforms in production environments.

• Proficiency with SQL Server development, tuning, and administration.

• Python scripting experience for automation and integration use cases.

• Familiarity with OPC UA concepts, configuration, and troubleshooting.

Compensation for the IT Systems Analyst includes:

• Salary range: 125,000 – 145,000 depending on experience
