We are looking for an experienced Project Manager (Sterile Injectable Tech Transfer) to support sterile injectable manufacturing programs within a growing CDMO environment. This role is focused on leading customer-facing technology transfer initiatives, guiding products from initial handoff through scale-up and commercial readiness at a sterile manufacturing site in Ridgefield, New Jersey.
Key Responsibilities of the Project Manager (Sterile Injectable Tech Transfer):
- Lead cross-functional technology transfer projects for sterile injectable products, from customer onboarding through commercial production
- Develop, track, and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets in a fast-moving CDMO setting
- Act as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and issue resolution
- Coordinate readiness activities for aseptic filling (vials and prefilled syringes), lyophilization when applicable, and packaging operations
- Collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Validation teams to support PPQ, scale-up activities, and launch execution
Qualifications of the Project Manager (Sterile Injectable Tech Transfer):
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Chemistry, or a related discipline
- At least 5 years of project management experience within pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing
- Prior experience working in a CDMO environment strongly preferred
- Hands-on experience managing sterile injectable technology transfer projects
- Solid understanding of aseptic processing, sterile fill-finish operations, and cGMP requirements
Compensation & Benefits for the Project Manager (Sterile Injectable Tech Transfer):
- Competitive compensation range of $130,000–$150,000
