Piper Companies is partnering with an innovative technology organization to hire a Principal Technical Product Marketing ManagerThe company builds software that enables real-time data connectivity across applications, databases, and platforms. In this role, you’ll own enterprise go‑to‑market strategy for Connect AI, the first managed MCP platform for enterprise, shaping how enterprise IT leaders adopt governed AI data connectivity. You’ll work closely with product, engineering, sales, and customer teams to deliver technically credible messaging that resonates with hands-on evaluators and executive stakeholders alike.

Key Responsibilities of the Principal Technical Product Marketing Manager:

  • Own enterprise GTM strategy and positioning for Connect AI, targeting CIOs, IT Architects, VP Infrastructure, and security/compliance stakeholders
  • Define messaging around enabling AI without compromising governance, security, or existing system investments
  • Build competitive positioning against iPaaS, unified APIs, and native MCP connectors
    • Create technically credible enterprise content, including:
    • Security and governance reference architectures
    • Compliance mapping (SOC 2, GDPR)
    • ERP/CRM integration guides (SAP, Salesforce, Workday, ServiceNow)
    • Hybrid deployment and implementation playbooks
  • Translate CData’s pillars—Connectivity, Context, and Control—into clear enterprise value narratives
  • Enable Sales and Customer Success with use cases, objection handling, and competitive insights
  • Partner with Product on roadmap input, launch strategy, and enterprise buyer feedback
  • Track pipeline influence, adoption, and win/loss trends across enterprise accounts


Qualifications of the Principal Technical Product Marketing Manager:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
  • 7+ years of product marketing experience in data infrastructure, integration platforms, or enterprise software
  • Proven success marketing to Enterprise IT buyers in complex, multi‑stakeholder environments
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise systems and landscapes (ERP, CRM, financial systems)
  • Ability to produce technically credible content used by architects and IT evaluators
  • Familiarity with enterprise AI/ML concepts such as LLMs, RAG, agentic AI, and Model Context Protocol (MCP)
  • Excellent communication skills, from hands-on technical audiences to executive leadership



Compensation & Benefits for the Principal Technical Product Marketing Manager:

  • Salary: $225,000 – $250,000
  • Benefits: Full medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and sick leave as required by law
  • Travel: Occasional travel for customer meetings and events (approximately 10–15%)
