Piper Companies is seeking a Principal Technical Product Marketing Manager to join an innovative organization in the enterprise data infrastructure and AI platform space for a permanent, remote position. The Principal Technical Product Marketing Manager will lead go-to-market strategy and technical enterprise messaging for a platform that enables governed, secure AI access across complex enterprise systems.
Responsibilities of the Principal Technical Product Marketing Manager include:
· Develop and own enterprise-focused positioning and go-to-market strategy for a technical AI connectivity platform used by large-scale IT organizations.
· Create evaluation-ready technical assets such as security architectures, compliance mappings, governance frameworks, and hybrid deployment guides tailored to enterprise IT buyers.
· Translate platform capabilities across connectivity, contextual intelligence, and security controls into compelling narratives for CIOs, architects, and security leaders.
· Partner cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Customer Success to support launches, enablement, and competitive differentiation in long enterprise sales cycles.
· Analyze buyer feedback, pipeline impact, and win/loss data to continuously refine messaging and influence product direction.
Qualifications for the Principal Technical Product Marketing Manager include:
· 7+ years of product marketing experience within enterprise software, data platforms, or integration technologies targeting IT and security stakeholders.
· Proven success supporting complex enterprise buying journeys involving technical evaluators, governance teams, procurement, and executive sponsors.
· Strong understanding of enterprise application ecosystems including ERP, CRM, and financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, and Workday.
· Hands-on experience producing technically credible content consumed by architects and IT leaders, including security and compliance documentation.
· Familiarity with modern AI infrastructure concepts such as LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation, agent-based systems, and Model Context Protocol (MCP).
Compensation for the Principal Technical Product Marketing Manager:
Salary Range: $225,000-$250,000/year (USD)
