Piper Companies is seeking a Principal Technical Product Marketing Manager to lead enterprise go-to-market strategy for a managed AI data connectivity platform within the enterprise software and data infrastructure industry. The Principal Technical Product Marketing Manager role is ideal for a senior product marketer with deep technical credibility and experience marketing to enterprise IT buyers navigating secure, governed AI adoption. The Principal Technical Product Marketing Manager role is a remote opportunity.


Responsibilities of the Principal Technical Product Marketing Manager:

  • Own enterprise GTM positioning and messaging for an AI data connectivity and managed MCP platform targeting CIOs, IT leaders, architects, and security stakeholders.
  • Develop competitive positioning against iPaaS, unified API platforms, and native AI connectors.
  • Create technically credible enterprise content including architecture guides, security documentation, and governance playbooks.
  • Translate platform capabilities into clear value narratives for both technical and executive audiences.
  • Enable Sales and Customer Success with enterprise-focused use cases and objection handling.
  • Partner with Product to influence roadmap priorities around governance, security, and deployment flexibility.

Requirements of the Principal Technical Product Marketing Manager:

  • 7+ years of product marketing experience in data infrastructure, integration platforms, or enterprise software.
  • Proven track record marketing to Enterprise IT buyers including architects, IT leadership, and security/compliance teams.
  • Experience navigating complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise buying cycles involving technical evaluators, procurement, and executives.
  • Strong familiarity with enterprise systems such as SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, Workday, and NetSuite.
  • Ability to produce technically credible content including architecture guides and security whitepapers.
  • Familiarity with enterprise AI/ML concepts including LLMs, RAG, agentic AI, and Model Context Protocol (MCP).
  • Prior experience in a start-up or high-growth environment.

Compensation for the Principal Technical Product Marketing Manager:

  • $225,000 - $250,000 base salary
  • Full Comprehensive Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental, PTO, Paid Holiday and Sick Leave if Required by Law.
