Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Director Cybersecurity to lead the strategy, governance, and advancement of enterprise cybersecurity programs for a leading healthcare organization in the Greater Philadelphia area. The Senior Director Cybersecurity will provide leadership across key cybersecurity domains including AI, Engineering and Operations, Data and Applications, and Exposure Management and Response, while advancing the organization’s overall security posture and cyber resilience.

Responsibilities of the Senior Director Cybersecurity:

• Lead enterprise cybersecurity strategy, governance, architecture, engineering, and operations.

 • Provide strategic oversight across AI Security, Engineering & Operations, Data & Application Security, and Exposure Management & Response.

 • Develop security roadmaps, policies, standards, and controls to strengthen enterprise cyber resilience.

 • Oversee security assessments, threat modeling, risk management, and architecture across applications, data, cloud, and emerging technologies.

 • Advance threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, exposure management, and security automation capabilities.

 • Lead AI security and governance initiatives, including the secure adoption of Generative AI, Machine Learning, LLMs, and emerging technologies.

 • Partner with technology, privacy, legal, compliance, and business leaders to enable secure innovation.

 • Develop executive reporting and security metrics while building and mentoring high-performing cybersecurity teams.

Qualifications of the Senior Director Cybersecurity:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.

 • 12+ years of Information Technology and Cybersecurity experience.

 • CISSP certification required.

 • Expertise in cybersecurity strategy, governance, architecture, engineering, operations, and risk management.

 • Experience leading programs across AI Security, Data & Application Security, Engineering & Operations, and Exposure Management & Response.

 • Strong knowledge of cloud security, application security, data protection, vulnerability management, threat detection, and incident response.

 • Understanding of emerging technologies and associated risks, including Generative AI, Machine Learning, and LLMs.

 • Proven experience developing enterprise security architectures, governance frameworks, and risk management programs.

Compensation for the Senior Director Cybersecurity AI includes:

• Salary range: $230,000+
