AI Solutions Engineer

Piper Companies is seeking an AI Solutions Engineer to support AI‑driven workflow automation and solution delivery initiatives within a professional services environment through hybrid work across U.S. office locations. This role is ideal for someone experienced in AI solution design, rapid prototyping, and stakeholder‑facing delivery who enjoys translating complex business workflows into scalable, production‑ready AI solutions.

Responsibilities of the AI Solutions Engineer:

• Serve as an embedded solutions partner, owning intake, discovery, and problem framing to translate stakeholder needs into clear requirements, user stories, and sprint‑ready backlogs.

• Design, prototype, and evaluate AI‑driven solutions, building proofs of concept and iterating toward production‑ready implementations.

• Collaborate with cross‑functional technology and delivery teams to manage dependencies, integration planning, testing, and operational readiness.

• Support solution adoption through UAT coordination, documentation, training materials, demos, and continuous improvement cycles.

Qualifications of the AI Solutions Engineer:

• 5+ years of experience in solutions engineering, business analysis, or workflow/process automation.

• Hands‑on experience building and deploying AI‑driven solutions, including AI agents, prototyping, and production delivery.

• Working knowledge of ML models, modern RAG patterns, and prompt/agent frameworks.

• Experience with Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and workflow automation tools.

• Ability to design or support integrations using APIs and data flows.

• Proficiency in one or more scripting or programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, PowerShell, JavaScript).

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred or equivalent experience.

• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Compensation of the AI Solutions Engineer:

• Salary Range: $180,000 - $205,000 (based on experience)
