Signal Integrity Engineering Manager

Piper Companies is looking for a Signal Integrity Engineering Manager to join a global engineering organization focused on high‑speed interconnect solutions. This is a hybrid position based in Raleigh, NC or Austin, TX, with up to 30% travel. The Signal Integrity Engineering Manager will play a critical role in system‑level SerDes bring‑up and signal integrity validation across global manufacturing sites and is a hands‑on technical leader who enjoys working closely with factories, customers, and cross‑functional engineering teams.

Responsibilities for the Signal Integrity Engineering Manager:

• Lead system‑level SerDes bring‑up for cable and backplane designs at global manufacturing sites
• Define and own factory test procedures, including limits, pass/fail criteria, and validation thresholds
• Drive signal integrity validation and troubleshooting, including electromagnetic simulations and S‑parameter analysis
• Act as the technical interface with customers and internal teams to align on expectations, validation strategies, and factory readiness

Qualifications for the Signal Integrity Engineering Manager:

• 8+ years of experience in Signal Integrity Engineering with system‑level SerDes bring‑up experience
• Ability and willingness to travel internationally approximately 30% of the time to manufacturing locations
• Experience supporting or leading factory bring‑up and manufacturing validation, including on‑site testing
• Strong background in electromagnetic simulations, S‑parameters, and SI analysis for high‑speed interconnects
• Experience working with cable, backplane, or high‑speed interconnect technologies
• Must be eligible to work in the United States and obtain and maintain an Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Master’s degree preferred

Compensation/Benefits for the Signal Integrity Engineering Manager:

• Salary Range: $170,000 – $200,000 base salary with eligibility for an annual bonus (approximately 10%)
