Business Analyst

Piper Companies is seeking a Business Analyst to join a global organization within the digital infrastructure and data center industry for a remote contract position (based out of CST) supporting teams across multiple regions. The Business Analyst will partner closely with Global Operations and technology teams, acting as a key liaison between business stakeholders and development teams to drive process improvement and ServiceNow-based solutions.

Responsibilities of the Business Analyst include:

· Lead and facilitate workshops and working sessions with subject matter experts and stakeholders to evaluate and improve operational processes.

· Elicit, analyze, and document complex business and system requirements, translating them into clear user stories aligned with Agile-Scrum practices.

· Assess current-state processes, identify gaps and risks, and design future-state workflows with a focus on operational efficiency and customer experience.

· Develop and execute user acceptance testing scenarios, support defect triage, and validate solutions prior to release.

· Review and enhance process documentation, work instructions, and training materials, delivering hands-on knowledge transfer when needed.

Qualifications for the Business Analyst include:

· 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting business transformation, optimization, or enterprise systems initiatives.

· 3+ years of hands-on experience working in Agile environments across the full software development lifecycle.

· Strong background in business process modeling, user story creation, and requirements documentation using BPMN and UML methodologies.

· Demonstrated experience working with ServiceNow and familiarity with IT service management frameworks such as ITIL.

· Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills with experience collaborating across global, distributed teams.

Compensation for the Business Analyst:

Salary Range: $100,000-$115,000/year (USD)
