Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support a global operations organization within the data center and digital infrastructure industry. The Senior Business Analyst will work closely with stakeholders and technology teams, supporting service management and operational excellence initiatives across enterprise platforms. The Sr. Business Analyst role is a remote opportunity and a long term open ended contract role.
Responsibilities of the Senior Business Analyst:
- Facilitate process reviews, interviews, and workshops with SMEs and stakeholders.
- Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements using Agile methodologies.
- Translate requirements into clear user stories for development teams.
- Analyze current-state processes, identify gaps, and define future-state process flows.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test scenarios, execution, and defect analysis.
- Review and update process documentation, work instructions, and training materials.
Requirements of the Senior Business Analyst:
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a business change or optimization environment.
- Experience working in Agile software development lifecycles.
- Hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform and ITSM processes.
- Knowledge of ITIL or similar service management frameworks.
- Experience with business process modeling (BPMN) and diagramming tools (Visio/Gliffy).
- Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience working with global and virtual teams.
Compensation for the Senior Business Analyst:
- $100,000 - $115,000
