Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Trade Compliance Analyst to support complex global trade operations within a multinational environment. The Senior Trade Compliance Analyst role is ideal for an experienced compliance professional with deep expertise in U.S. import/export regulations, customs operations, and export controls, supporting a highly regulated, global industry with significant international supply chain activity.
Responsibilities of the Senior Trade Compliance Analyst:
• Ensure full compliance with U.S. and international trade regulations, including import, export, and customs requirements.
• Interpret and apply Title 15 (Commerce and Foreign Trade) and Title 19 (Customs Duties) to day-to-day business operations.
• Manage and support tariff classification, country of origin determinations, and customs valuation activities.
• Oversee USMCA compliance, including qualification analysis, documentation, and audits.
• Support customs entry processes and interface with customs brokers to resolve issues and discrepancies.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with export controls, OFAC regulations, BIS requirements, and global sanctions regimes.
• Partner with internal stakeholders across supply chain, legal, logistics, and operations to provide trade compliance guidance.
• Assist with internal audits, government inquiries, and continuous improvement of trade compliance programs.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications of the Senior Trade Compliance Analyst:
• 6–10 years of experience in trade compliance, import/export operations, customs, or a related field.
• Experience supporting trade compliance within a multinational or global organization.
• Solid understanding of Title 15 (Commerce and Foreign Trade) and Title 19 (Customs Duties).
• Strong knowledge of USMCA compliance, tariff classification, and country of origin rules.
• Hands-on experience with customs entry processes and working with customs brokers.
• Expertise in export controls, OFAC, BIS, and global sanctions frameworks.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Compensation for the Senior Trade Compliance Analyst includes:
• Base salary range: $142,000 – $190,000 depending on experience
