Piper Companies is seeking a Sr Software Engineer to support a start up in the agricultural retail industry, for a permanent hybrid role based in Durham, NC. The Sr Software Engineer role will be involved in 70% new feature development and 30% maintenance
Responsibilities of the Sr Software Engineer:
- Performing 70% new feature development and 30% maintenance on the client's database
- Working with team that reports to the QA manager and QA engineers
Qualifications of the Sr Software Engineer:
- 4+ years of Typescript and React/Node Experience, 30/70 split
- Experience using Express
- Experience with SQL databases
- Experience with access frameworks, Sequelize preferred
- Experience with AI integration of LLMs/Agents into current product workflows
Compensation for the Sr Software Engineer includes:
- Salary range: $140,000 – $150,000 USD per year depending on professional experience
