Business Analyst

Piper Companies is seeking a Business Analyst to support an industry leader in data center providers, for a permanent remote role based in the USA. The Business Analyst role will be responsible for understanding, designing, and documenting processes and business requirements which will then be translated to user stories.

Responsibilities of the Business Analyst:

• Organize and facilitate process review sessions with stakeholders
• Performing complex business and system analysis work and conduct requirements gathering/analysis using Agile methodology
• Performing impact analysis of current business procedures
• Map customer journeys
• Identify risks with product, people, process, and systems
• Review training material/work instructions for users
• Support user acceptance testing and defect analysis

Qualifications of the Business Analyst:

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a business change and optimizing environment
• 3+ years of experience in business product and process modeling with business lines
• 3+ years of experience working in an agile software development life cycle environment
• Experience working with virtual teams across multiple regions
• Experience with ITIL framework and/or similar frameworks
• Experience with ServiceNow platform
• Experience in creating business use cases such as UML 2.0+
• Experience in diagramming such as Visio/Gliffy
• Experience with business process modeling using different BPM modeling tools such as BPMN 2.0
• Experience in facilitating interviews and workshops, as well as being creative when choosing formats to ensure stakeholder buy-in
• Data center exposure preferred
• Experience in delivering global, enterprise-wide deliverables preferred

Compensation for the Business Analyst includes:

• Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 USD per year depending on professional experience
