Piper Companies is seeking an Automation PMO Scheduler (Clean Utilities Coordinator) to support the Project’s clean utilities process area. This role is highly coordination-focused and serves as the primary automation-facing liaison for clean utilities activities. The Automation PMO Scheduler will ensure automation resources, priorities, and deliverables are aligned with the schedule and daily execution plans. The Automation PMO Schedular operates in a high‑touch, fast‑paced project environment where communication, situational awareness, and resource alignment are critical to success. This position is a long-term contract requiring the individual to be onsite in Holly Springs, NC.
Responsibilities for the Automation PMO Scheduler include:
· Serving as the coordination lead for clean utilities automation activities, ensuring alignment with the master Aura project schedule.
· Coordinating daily and weekly automation activities based on direction from the Aura Operations Readiness team.
· Ensuring appropriate automation and field resources are assigned to current and upcoming clean utilities workstreams.
· Identifying and communicating resource constraints, shifting priorities, and potential schedule bottlenecks, including scenarios where automation becomes the limiting factor for CQV execution.
· Acting as the primary communication interface between Clean Utilities Leads, field resources, automation teams, CQV, and PMs/PDs across functional groups.
· Clearly communicating automation-related status, action items, escalations, and dependencies to project stakeholders.
· Maintaining awareness of PI / PII-related systems and data touchpoints and coordinating with PII teams when required.
Qualifications for the Automation PMO Scheduler include:
· Background in automation, controls, or PLC-based systems; DeltaV experience is helpful but not required.
· Demonstrated experience coordinating scope delivery within a defined process or systems area.
· Strong project coordination or PMO-style experience within regulated or technically complex environments.
· Proven ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
· Ability to think quickly, adapt to changing priorities, and manage curveballs under schedule pressure.
· Comfort operating in a highly communicative, coordination‑driven role with frequent stakeholder interaction.
· Experience supporting clean utilities systems such as clean steam, WFI, or process utilities.
· Familiarity with CQV workflows and readiness‑driven project schedules.
· Experience working on large capital projects within pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing environments
Compensation for the Automation PMO Schedular includes:
· Salary range: $150,000 - $175,000
