Internal Communications Specialist

Piper Companies is seeking an Internal Communications Specialist to support strategic employee communications for a Financial Services organization located in Dallas, TX with a hybrid onsite schedule. The Internal Communications Specialist role is ideal for a communications professional with strong writing skills, visual storytelling experience, and the ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging internal messaging.

Responsibilities of the Internal Communications Specialist:

·       Develop and execute internal communication strategies that support organizational initiatives and change management efforts.

·       Create compelling written content including internal announcements, leadership messages, newsletters, and intranet content.

·       Design and present visual communications such as graphs, infographics, and slide presentations to support internal campaigns.

·       Collaborate with leadership, HR, and cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and timely messaging.

·       Manage and maintain internal communication channels, ensuring content is current, relevant, and engaging.

·       Measure and analyze communication effectiveness and recommend improvements based on engagement metrics.

Qualifications of the Internal Communications Specialist:

·       4+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or a related field.

·       Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with demonstrated ability to tailor messaging to diverse internal audiences.

·       Experience developing visual assets including graphs, charts, and PowerPoint presentations.

·       Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and other content creation or design tools.

·       Ability to provide a portfolio including writing samples, presentations, and visual communication examples.

·       Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation for the Internal Communications Specialist includes:

Salary range: $72,000 – $83,000 depending on experience
