Role Overview

Zachary Piper is seeking a Product Manager of Repairs to own and drive offsite maintenance and repair service offerings delivered through a global network of service centers. This role focuses on developing profitable, scalable repair products that improve customer equipment reliability while supporting commercial teams and repair execution globally.




Key Responsibilities

  • Own product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle for offsite maintenance and repair service offerings
  • Translate customer feedback, market insights, and repair execution data into productized service offerings and improvements
  • Develop standardized repair scopes, inspection criteria, service toolkits, and technical documentation to ensure global consistency
  • Partner with repair centers, supply chain, sales, and field service teams to align offerings with operational and commercial goals
  • Support commercial teams with pricing guidance, value propositions, sales tools, and customer-facing materials
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics including order intake, profitability, repair cycle time, and market adoption
  • Lead cross‑functional initiatives to expand repair portfolios, introduce new service packages, and scale capabilities globally
  • Build and present investment business cases, including ROI analysis
  • Train and coach sales, technical sales support, and proposal teams on repair offerings and selling approach



Required Experience & Skills

  • 5–7+ years in a product development role, ideally within mining, aggregates, heavy industry, or service/repair environments
  • 5–7+ years in a technical support or service‑related role
  • Experience working with service centers, field service, or repair operations
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen; ability to engineer deals and build compelling value propositions
  • Proven experience presenting to customers and managing customer relationships
  • Ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders and global time zones
  • Strong planning, prioritization, and execution skills
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams)
  • Experience with ERP systems preferred (SAP a plus)
  • Prior experience selling labor‑based services preferred
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications and engineering drawings preferred



             Compensation

Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000

Full Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave, and Holidays. (As required by law)
